also known as Jing in short, is the capital city in northern China. Beijing is a major hub for transportation, as dozens of railways, roads and motorways pass through this mega city, also most of the international flights arriving in China land in Beijing.
Beijing is and will always be an important part of China's history. Every major building will have historical evidence of significance relevance to the history of China. No other city in the nation attracts more travelers than this city as it has the most wonderful selection of attractions.
There is a saying which goes like; one who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a true hero. In other words no trip to Beijing or the country is complete without visiting the Great Wall of China. Another important attraction is the Forbidden City which is in the heart of Beijing and is known to be the largest palace complex of the nation and the world. The new Beijing is fantastic and stimulating while the old Beijing is breathtaking and remarkable. And to experience this old part of Beijing, a Hutong tour is a must.
Hundreds of years ago, when people were amazed by this unbelievable description of China, they asked the person whether his stories were true or fake. Then he answered: What I have described is not even half of what I have seen. This person was Marco Polo. In other words one cannot describe China in words, one has to come and experience this Great amazing country
